Made some fantastic Tomato and Cinnamon Jam and a CLASSIC Apple Chutney today!

Finally bought the table and the gazebo for the markets! The marvelous world of eBay! Let's see if it really works. Trying to get a chest freezer somewhere, but it's prooving hard. But all and all, things are moving forward....

The big news is that all markets are booked for the Christmas season now, so I will let you know shortly. To start, hope to see you all in Philsborough on the 27th or the 28th November (behind Tesco). It's indoors, so even if the weather doesn't help, come along and check us out! We'll have loads of delicious stuff!

And here are the WORLD FAMOUS Portuguese custard tarts! Made by "moi"!

Made some today and they turned out great. I have to say I have mastered the pastry now. And it's not that difficult! You have to make it yourself to get the extra cripiness!

Now it's time for a few more jars of Homemade Mincemeat for those cracking Mince Pies. I'll post some pictures as soon as I see the result.

Farmer's markets

Finally got through to someone in charge in the farmer's markets! It's been difficult but we'll get there....Meeting on Friday.

Went shopping for all the displays and found great things! I could loose my mind in buying this kind of stuff. I know that the falor is what matters, but presentation is very important. Appeal to all senses, they say..... I'm a great believer of that! Still missing a few things. Trying to get set up for tomorrow week. Will let you know.
